What is TS EAMCET 2020?
Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test or TS EAMCET is a state level entrance examination for Hyderabad.
It is conducted by the JNT University. Students who wish to apply to both private and government colleges situated in Telangana have to take this test. This test is for getting admission into various engineering, agriculture and medical programmes.
Only those who qualify this examination will get admitted to reputed universities. All admissions are based solely on merit.
TS EAMCET 2020 Main Dates
1. The official notification for TS EAMCET 2020 was released on 19th February 2020
2. Following are the Online Application dates for TS EAMCET 2020-:
Starting Date- Intake of applications will commence from 21st February 2020
Closing date- 10th June 2020. This is the last date to submit your forms without being charged a late fee. Any form that is submitted after this date will be charged a late fee that increases every 5 days.
3. Dates for correction of application forms – Any corrections related to spelling errors or entering of wrong information can only be done from 11th – 16th June 2020
4. Late fee of Rs 500/- will applied on the applications submitted from 10th-15th June
5. Late fee of Rs 1000/- will applied on the applications submitted from 15th-20th June
6. Late fee of Rs 5000/- will applied on the applications submitted from 20th- 25th June
7. Late fee of Rs 10,000/- will applied on the applications submitted from 25th-31st July
8. Admit cards will be available in August 2020. Candidates are supposed to download and safeguard their Admit cards. Candidates without an admit card will not be allowed to take the examination.
9. The TS EAMCET will be conducted in August 2020
The dates for publication or provisional answer key, last date of Objection/Suggestion submission for answer key, results announcement/Release of final answer key, release of Rank card, starting of Counseling are yet to be announced.
TS EAMCET 2020 Application Process
The registration process for the application from TS EAMCET 2020 began from 21st February 2020
Candidates can visit their nearest TS online centre for assistance with form filling or simply go on the official website to fill the form. Make sure to fill the form correctly and completely to prevent rejection.
Candidates have the provision to submit their forms till 31st July but a late fee will be charged on all those submitting after 10th June. This fee increases every 5 days and candidates will have to pay Rs 10,000 if they fill the form after 25th July. Correction in the forms can be done only once.
It is advisable to fill one form at a time as multiple applications from the same candidate stand a chance of being rejected by the board.

TS EAMCET 2020 Application Fee
Candidates in the open category have to pay Rs 800 as the application fee of TS EAMCET 2020. ST/SC candidates have to pay half of that ie; Rs. 400. If candidates are applying for both the streams then the fee is Rs. 800/- for SC/ST and Rs. 1600/- for other categories.
Application fee is to be paid online through net banking/debit/credit card. Candidates can also visit their nearest TS (AP) Online centers for assistance. .
TS EAMCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Only Indian National candidates, Overseas citizen of India, Person of Indian Origin card holders can apply for this examination.
Domicile: A domicile of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh is necessary while applying for TS EAMCET. Non-Local/Local status requirements as per the Telangana/Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 have to be satisfied by the candidate.
Age Criteria: The candidate should be 17 years or older as on 31/12/2020.
For Engineering/Biotechnology: Candidate must have passed his 10+2 level with PCM as optional or related vocational courses in Engineering & Technology or its equivalent recognized by BIE Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
TS EAMCET 2020 Exam Pattern
Exam Mode: TS EAMCET 2020 will be conducted online and will be a Computer Based Test.
Type of Questions: The question paper will include no theory but only multiple choice questions.
No. of Questions: For both the tests on agriculture and engineering the total of questions the candidates will have to attempt will be 160 questions.
Total Marks: Each question carries one mark. Students will be marked out of 160 for 160 questions..
Time Duration: candidates will be allotted a total of 3 hours to complete the exam. There will be no extra time provided under any circumstances.
Language Medium: The candidates have the option of choosing from two groups – English/Telugu or English/Urdu, depending upon their preference.
Marking Scheme: Each question carries one mark and no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. There will be no negative marking for this exam.
The exam will have questions ranging from English comprehension to all the subjects the candidate has studied in 10th and 12th grade.
For Admission into engineering programmes, TS EAMCET exam will contain questions from the core subjects of PCM-Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. The syllabus will vary for medical or agricultural streams.

TS EAMCET 2020 Admit Card
All the candidates who have successfully registered for TS EAMCET 2020 will receive their Admit cards before the exam.
The admit cards will be published online and can be downloaded by the candidates. Candidates are supposed to visit the official website and enter their registration number and birth date to download the admit card.
There will be no changes made to the admit card once it is generated. Hence it is important to fill in accurate information during the registration process.
The admit card is a must for appearing for the exam and candidates should keep it secured.
The candidates will have to carry their admit cards along with a copy of their application form to their centers without which they will not be able to write the exam.
Apart from the admit card, a recent photograph should be attached with the documents for identity verification.
The candidates also have to get their documents attested by the principal of the college they last studied in or a Gazetted officer. Candidates can contact officials in case of any errors in the admit card.
TS EAMCET 2020 Result
The TS EAMCET result for 2020 will be declared online in September 2020. To access the result the candidates have to log in to the official website using their application number and password.
The results will be displayed according to the rank obtained by the candidates. This is calculated on the basis of the 75/25 model. 75 % of marks obtained in the entrance exam plus 25% of the marks obtained in qualifying exams makes the total merit score.
The counselling process will begin shortly after the results are announced and shortlisted candidates will be called for the same. The whole process will be conducted online.
