Be aware of your own talents
Jon Favreau dropped out of college to pursue a career in comedy and acting and so far it has paid off.
I’ve noticed in the past also that many celebrities who had true conviction about thier talent often take risks and then become successful.
This does not mean that education is unimportant and you should drop out, but be aware about your own talent and have faith in yourself and things will work out.
Sometimes the people you meet randomly can change your life
While Jon Favreau was doing a small role in the movie Rudy in 1993, he met another actor called Vince Vaughn.
The two hit it off very well and became very close friends and helped each other in thier careers.
Jon wrote the roles for himself and Vince Vaughn for the movie Swingers in 1996 which went on to become a hit and cemented his and Vince’s careers.
