I have an Apple watch that I have been using on and off for couple of years now. While I like the device for walking and general notifications, sometimes I do run into few glitches.

- Press and hold the button on the side until the power off-screen comes up.

- Click on the digital crown icon on the iWatch.
- The App View will get opened on the screen, tap on Settings options.
- Tap open the General and scroll down, straight to the bottom and click on the Reset option.
- Now, tap on the Erase All The Content and Settings option.
- Enter the Apple ID password.
- Select the Erase All or Erase all & Keep Plan option for the Apple Watch.
From iPhone by using the watch app
- Firstly, open the iWatch app on the iOS device.
- Tap on the All Watches option in the My Watch section.
- Tap on the ‘i’ button/icon which will be right next to the watch that you wish to unpair.
- Select the option of Unpair Apple Watch and then confirm it.
- Choose in between whether you want to Keep or Remove Data Plan.
- Finally, enter the Apple ID password and the watch will get unpaired from the iOS device.
Check iWatch version & update
Iwatch OS launches their updates very frequently to keep their devices function smoothly without any problems or lagging.
Therefore, if the iWatch firmware is not up to date it can for sure cause problems in functioning. So you need to update the iWatch version by following the steps mentioned below :
- On your iPhone go to the Apple Watch app and open it.
- Click on My Watch.
- Go to the option of General then to Software Update.
- Then, if any update is available for the iWatch, click on the Download and Install option
- And the iWatch will get updated.
