When I was heading marketing for a large coworking company, I set up the entire cloud telephony infrastructure.
This included setting up toll free numbers, hiring a team of customer support executives, setting up Quality control, improving scripts, improving the whole telephony flow for our customers.
I had used a virtual telephony system back then which meant that calls from around the world were hitting a toll free number such as calls from a different Area Code numbers and then routed back to our customer support executives.
One of the biggest problems plaguing the telephony industry is spam and scam calls. When you get a call from an unknown number, especially a toll free number it is usually a scam and unless you are aware of the caller, it is best to ignore the call.
