MC Hammer was born in 1962 in California.
His father was a warehouse supervisor and a professional poker player. He was a master of ceremonies when he began forming at different clubs which led to the acquisition of the nickname MC.
He graduated from McClymonds High School in Oakland.
Since he was not very much interested in studies, he joined the baseball organization he also joined the United states Navy and worked served there for 3 years.
