How does Survey Junkie Work?
The process of signing up to Survey Junkie is not only easy but also free. You can sign up with Facebook, Google or your email address.
If you want to receive your reward points as cash directly into your Paypal account then you should sign in with the email that is associated with that account.
It is a five step process that asks you for basic information like your gender, place of residence occupation etc.
You get a sign up bonus of 25 points and an additional 50 points for confirming your email and completing your profile.
You should try to fill out the questions as honestly as possible so that you get matched with more surveys that fit your profile better.
These can be random quotations about your lifestyle, hobbies, your food preferences, number of petc etc.
If you fill out these quotes accurately it will make it better for you and better for the company giving out these surveys.
It will also be more interesting to take surveys if they are more related to your interests. There are about 33 questions and it will take only a few minutes to earn you 50 points.
You will be notified via email each time there is a survey that you potentially qualify for.
If you don’t want to wait for these emails you can directly log in to the website and start taking surveys.
You can find plenty of surveys pertaining to different products and services as soon as you log in.
Each survey will have time and point indicators that show the approximate time it would take to complete the surveys and how many points it will earn you.
The important part is qualifying for surveys. This depends on your demographics and how authentically you have answered the profile questions.
You can view the total number of points you have earned by clicking on the tab called “Lifetime Points”
You can also download the Survey Junkie mobile app for quick and easy access to surveys. This app is helpful to go surveys on the go.
Survey Junkie Points to Cash
As with many other survey sites Survey Junkie also pays a cent for each point. That means that you need 1000 points to earn $10 and cash it out.
Sometimes you might learn in the middle of a survey that you don’t qualify for it.
Unlike other survey sites, Survey Junkie pays you points just for taking the survey, even if you don’t qualify for it.
You can directly encash your points through your Paypal account or use them to redeem various Gift cards.
How Much Does Survey Junkie Pay Per Hour?
A survey can earn you anywhere from 10 -200 points.
Each survey has a stipulated time. The amount of points you earn depends on how many surveys you qualify for.
Sometimes low-paying surveys take more time so you have to be careful about the surveys you chose to earn the maximum number of points.
If everything works for you and there are plenty of surveys that you qualify for then you can expect to earn about $7-$10 per hour.
How to Get Paid on Survey Junkie (Ways to get paid)
You can either redeem the points you earn through gift cards from Amazon, Starbucks, Target or you can get the money transferred into your Paypal account.
You do not have to worry about an additional fee for using Paypal. Survey Junkie does not deduct your points for using the cash option.
Even though Survey Junkie does not deduct your points, Paypal has a transfer fee of 3% for bank transactions.
It would hence be advisable to use the money from your paypal account directly rather than transferring it to your bank to encash it to avoid losing money.
However it should be noted that if you choose the Paypal option all of your points will be transferred into your account.
You cannot redeem only part of your points. But if you chose a gift card optio then your points will be drained depending on the gift card specifics and not all of them will be transferred together.
