Ever since TikTok launched, the platform has been a phenomenal success. In fact, TikTok is now the world’s most popular Search Engine behind Google and people using TikTok as a search engine shows how popular the social media platform has grown to be.

But sometimes the TikTok videos stop showing up on other people’s feed or maybe just won’t get uploaded on the creator’s account only.

The app has been reported to get frozen or start lagging for some reason.

Server Issue

As TikTok is used by millions of people at the same time, sometimes there are loads on TikTok servers which tends to make the app slow or buggy.

Video View Settings

But if your account is not private then you should check the Video Settings.

If the video settings are enabled as ‘Only Me’ then even if your account is public the videos will be visible only to you and no one else on TikTok.  

Internet Instability

If any content uploaded on TikTok violates those guidelines then those videos will be taken down by TikTok and your reel will not be shown to any TikTok users.

If the particular user continues to violate those guidelines then TikTok might put restrictions on your TikTok account and then you will not be able to access your account, make reels or upload reels and no one will be able see activity on your account or your TikTok account.

Restart your phone and TikTok app

The very basic solution of fixing the issue of not being able to upload the video or showing it to others can be fixed by Restarting your phone and the TikTok app again.

Restarting means closing the TikTok app and phone entirely and switching on your phone and launching the TikTok app again.

This can help the device and app both to do the temporary bug fixes and background problems in the app.

Clear Your Phone Cache

The I can’t see my videos on Tiktok error could also be due to accumlation of cache in your phone. You can try to clear your phone cache either manually or using a third party cache cleaning app such as CCleaner.

Check TikTok Server Status

Sometimes the issue can be on the server that is hosting TikTok itself. Even large apps such as TikTok and Facebook can experience server issues from time to time.

The server problem within the app is the technical glitch of the app and it can only be solved by the app creators.

With so many people using TikTok together at the same time from all around the world, the app can create this glitch any time.

So just wait till the app fixes the glitch problem, wait for sometime before trying to upload the video again and after sometime try to upload the reel again. If the server problem gets fixed, your reel will be up;oaded on your account.

Check Internet Stability

Like I mentioned before, you need a stable internet connection to use TikTok flawlessly.

If you don’t have a good internet connection then you will have problems in even making the reels and then uploading it on your account. So if you are unable to upload a reel on the app check your internet connection. Switch the internet connection.

Check if the the Wi-Fi is giving proper signals, Restart your router or contact your internet service provider to fix the router problem, Check if the connection is 3G or not,

Keep switching between the mobile data and wi-fi connection to see which works better for uploading the video, lastly check if the airplane mode is on or off and if its on then switch it off.

Check the Privacy of your account

The privacy setting of the TikTok app of your account can also create problems in making your videos visible to others on TikTok.

Check the privacy setting under the Video Setting and turn off ‘Only Me’ if enabled already, this will show your video to everyone on the app.
